I dunno. I find evidence that we miss folks who should join us encouraging. The more of them there are out there, the more work gets done.

I especially love that CalTrans inspected the sign, found that it met with their standards and was helpful, and not only left it up, but included a replacement for it when they replaced the sign years later.

Yes, Ethan, that really is reassuring. And now I wonder if there's a bureaucrat in CalTrans who might be a good recruit, too.

That, I can look into! Pretty easily, actually, I'm still doing a lot of civil engineering contracts.
